I can almost forgive misspelling liaison, as it’s a tricky word. However, using “highers” when you mean hires is beyond the pale, especially considering that the person in question is in HR and should know the proper words for his field..
As a teacher, I see that kind of error (highers) frequently, and I’m thinking it’s a direct result of a lack of reading.
