Use it: fetid

Here’s a great word to use: fetid, which means “having an offensive odor; stinking.”

I’ve used fetid a lot recently, due to a broken washing machine and a four day wait for the repair, compounded by a child who plays soccer and a husband who bikes to and from work.  My laundry pile was definitely fetid by the time the washer was fixed.
